Learning Begins
With Us
Welcome to Little Eagles Play- and Pre-School. Our school provides quality pre-school education to children from ages 4 months to 6 years, with a Grade R programme that produces happy, confident children, who are well prepared and will easily adapt to the routine and discipline of primary school.
As an independent Christian school, we strive to take the responsibility of educating young children to a level of EXCELLENCE, being remindful of the work that God has set out for us to do here in Summerstrand, by serving families in our city.
We aim to create a secure environment, where your child will feel safe to play, make friends, and be educated based on Christian values.

Curriculum Overview
Our qualified and experienced staff aims to help each child develop to their fullest potential, in a nurturing environment.
BABY GROUP
(4-18 months)
We provide a caring and loving environment to babies. They are not only cared for, but also stimulated age appropriately.
PURPLE GROUP
(1-2 years)
We introduce the toddlers to our YWAM (Youth With A Mission) curriculum, which is Bible based.
YELLOW GROUP
(2-3 years)
Young children in this age group become more focused on social interaction and making social connections. They are keen to learn and we fully encourage their inquisitive minds.
BLUE GROUP
(3-4 years)
Boys and girls are guided and taught to develop their language, intellect, reasoning & gross motor skills.
GOLD GROUP
(4-5 years)
This is the preparation year for Grade R, where the level of numeracy, fine & gross motor work, etc. becomes a little more challenging.
GRADE R
(5-6 years)
Their day is filled with variety and preparation to enter Primary School — this includes a Reading program, the learning of Scripture verses, doing Show & Tell, Movement & Music rings.
Outside The Classroom
Extra Mural Activities
Activities offered by qualified coaches include hockey, soccer, dancing, drama, rugby, cricket and jungle gym. Computers are part of the Grade R tuition.
Events
Fun for all the family — sports day, family walk & games day, class get-togethers, and end-of-year concerts & graduation.
Aftercare & Holiday Care Facilities
We offer this service in the afternoons and full days in the holidays, for children who need to be cared for in a safe, relaxed, and homely atmosphere.
